The Bike Rack that does More: The rucRak Multi-purpose Cargo System
Stop settling for flimsy, plastic-heavy bike racks that sag, rattle, and block your tailgate. The rucRak Bike System is engineered for those who demand serious off-road utility. Delivering dynamic, trail-rated hauling, this modular powerhouse allows you to transport your bikes safely without sacrificing an inch of rear vehicle access.
Whether you are running a built Jeep on 37s, outfitting a Ford Bronco for an overlanding expedition, or towing with an RV or SUV, this is the last bike carrier you will ever buy.
Engineered on the Trails,
Built for the long haul
- Zero Rust, Lifelong Durability: Crafted entirely from premium 3/16" Aircraft-Grade Aluminum and secured with high-grade Stainless Steel Hardware. It is completely rust-proof, meaning salt air, mud, and grueling winters will never corrode your mounts or structural integrity.
- Rock-Solid, No-Wobble Stability: Unlike mass-produced racks that bounce on the highway and fatigue your bike frames, our rigid, heavy-duty frame ensures zero wobble—keeping your bikes dead-locked and secure over the most brutal off-road terrain.
- Maximum Ground Clearance: Designed with an optimized departure angle so you will not scrape your rack or your wheels when navigating steep inclines, rocky trails, or deep ruts.
Uncompromised Rear Access:
Grunt vs. Gunny
We solved the biggest headache in the bike rack industry: tailgate access. Loading your bikes should never trap you out of your own rig.
- The Grunt (Tailgate-Mounted Rigs): Tailor-made for Jeep Wranglers and Ford Broncos. By utilizing our specialized tire-gate dual-mount system, the load of your bikes is carried safely to prevent hinge damage, while allowing your tailgate and spare tire to swing open smoothly in a single motion.
- The Gunny (SUVs, Trucks, RVs, & Vans): Equipped with a heavy-duty swing-arm system that pivots out to a full 120 degrees. Open your rear hatch, tailgate, or barn doors completely without taking your bikes off the rack.
13-in-1 Modularity: Beyond the Bikes
- Adapt on the Fly: Our lightweight design isn't just a bike rack. It transforms from a premium bike carrier into a high-capacity cargo basket or an all-terrain wagon in seconds. See All 13 things it can do

Notes on Bike Sizes and E-Bikes
The rucRak can carry 1 or 2 bikes. While the rucRak was originally designed for traditional pedal bikes, you can safely load your e-bike(s) on it as long as the wheel base is 45 inches or less, and the total weight is under 150 lbs. If you need a carrier for larger or heavier bikes, please check out our upcoming e-bike rack, The Chief.
Although the bike rack kit accessory is not absolutely required for carrying bikes, as there are plenty of places to strap them on, it is recommended. You can find it here: Bike Rack Accessory Kit
